Those of you who have a MagicMouse, you know some of the limitations. MagicPrefs is a FREE menubar and preference pane application for OSX that eliminates many of those limits. It adds functions like Middle Click , Hold Down Both Mouse Buttons , Spaces , Expose, Dashboard etc.
Also featured is a real-time display of the fingers touching the surface of the mouse that you can enable to test and monitor the way the mouse sees your input.
MagicPrefs is a application meant to run in the background all the time hence it has no interface elements to get in the way and it uses less than 1% CPU and is optimized for a minimal impact on the system performance.
The site does offer this advice:
Take it easy with the gestures, take your time to get comfortable with each new gesture before adding another.
See the site and download the software here: http://magicprefs.com/
And follow the link on that site to read about Magic Menu, which is part of the software you hopefully downloaded.
MagicMenu is meant as a extremely fast way to perform a action by harnessing the power of the body-mind coordination.
As you get used to it you only have to think “do bottom action” for example and trigger the menu, move your finger down, raise the finger and you have performed that action, you do not even have to look at the menu itself.
